Accelerating EUDR readiness

This learning report brings together insights from IDH’s EUDR projects across Africa, Asia and Latin America, drawing on work with governments, companies and farmer organisations across cocoa, coffee, palm oil and beef. It reflects both the persistent challenges and the progress being made, including continued investment in inclusive traceability.

The report also outlines key recommendations for next steps, providing a practical roadmap to strengthen traceability, protect forests, safeguard data sovereignty, and ensure that smallholders remain part of global value chains as EUDR implementation progresses.
